AFAS Executives Clean Faculty Female Toilet

In a remarkable display of leadership by example, executives of the Association of Faculty of Arts Students (AFAS) embarked on a clean-up exercise of the faculty’s female toilet on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024.

The initiative, coordinated by the General Secretary, Abiola Samuel, the Public Relations Officer, Oladosu Daniel, the Social Director, Awosemo Praise, and a volunteer, Regina, a student of the department of Communication and Language Arts, was a response to the persistent complaints from students about the deplorable state of the facility since the beginning of the session.

The exercise, which lasted several hours, saw the executives scrubbing floors, disinfecting surfaces, and clearing clogs, among other tasks.
