Congress to Hold as Ratified, SRC insists

After heated deliberations, the Students’ Representative Council has decided that the Students Union Congress holds as planned.

The SRC denied the SU’s request that the Congress scheduled for Saturday 17th May be suspended due to security reasons.

The motion for the Congress was moved by Honourable Oladele Samuel of the Alexander Brown Hall Constituency and seconded by Hon Sulaimon Afeez from Great Independence Hall.

Also decided at the Sitting, the Students’ Union was ordered to mobilize students for the Congress in collaboration with other Campus Unions.

The Congress will hold at 10am at the SUB Foyer
