UI SRC Holds Third Emergency Sitting Today

The University of Ibadan Students’ Representative Council (UI SRC) is set to hold its third emergency sitting today, Friday, 16th May 2025.
According to a notification signed by Rt. Hon. Shoge Quadri Olaoluwa, Speaker of the Council, and Hon. Adedeji Praise, Clerk of the Council, the sitting is scheduled for 8:00PM at the SRC Chamber, Kunle Adepeju Building.
The primary agenda is to deliberate on the integrity and relevance of the previously approved Congress.
Recall that during its first ordinary sitting on Saturday, 10th May 2025, the SRC resolved to convene a Congress on Saturday, 17th May 2025.
However, on Thursday, 15th May 2025, the University of Ibadan Students’ Union Executive Council announced the suspension of the Congress.
