SEALS CUP ’25: Golden Boot Race Heats Up as Female Quarterfinals Begin

By: Oluseun FATOPE
As the Seals Cup ’25 female quarter finals kick off today at the Old Football Pitch, the race for the Golden Boot, powered by DA-EBS Academy, is shaping up into one of the most exciting subplots of the tournament.
Leading the pack are Sarah of Forestry and Favour of Human Kinetics, two standout forwards who have dazzled with their lethal finishing and game intelligence.
Sarah, has been central to Forestry’s unbeaten run, slicing through defences with calm precision. Favour, meanwhile, has been the engine of a physically dominant H.K.E side. Agile, powerful, and clinical, her attacking presence poses a constant threat to any backline.
Just one goal behind are three players tied on three goals each: Kemi (Archaeology & Anthropology), Heritage (Philosophy), and Feyi (Physiotherapy).
Kemi’s eye for a goal will be critical in the all-AFAS clash against History. With all five top scorers still in contention, fans are in for a goal-laden showdown.
