Adewas First-Half Header Secures Super 4 Gold for Philosophy

The AFAS Super 4 final match, held on July 8, 2025, at the Old Football Pitch, SUB, ended in a 1–0 victory for Philosophy over Arabic and Islamic Studies (AIS).
The opening minutes saw Philosophy dominate proceedings, leading to AIS conceding a corner kick, which was powerfully headed into the right corner of the net by Philosophy captain, Adewas.
Shortly after, AIS almost restored parity with multiple chances, but they failed to convert from close range.
As the match progressed, both sides had a couple of set-piece opportunities that their players couldn’t connect with.
The second half kicked off with the same intensity as the first, with both teams pushing to either extend the lead or level the score.
With no more goals and several missed chances, the referee eventually blew the final whistle. Adewas first-half goal proved decisive, sealing the win for the Plato Academy contingent.
