WAR OF INJUSTICE NEVER ENDS, PROF. OSOFISAN SAYS

Emeritus Professor Femi Osofisan has said that the war of injustice never ends while noting that Fela was a man who could not stand injustice.

Prof. Osofisan said on the occasion of the 2018 Fela Anikulapo Kuti International Conference on African Homelands and Social Theory on, Religion-states relationship in post-colonial Africa: Issues, context and perspective.

Osofisan who was the chairman of the occasion said, “Fela was a courageous man who could not stand injustice. He is dead but justice has not yet been won.” Meanwhile, the keynote speaker, Prof. Toyin Falola has likened Fela with political rebels and icons. 

Personalities present at the conference include the Dean of Arts; Prof. Ademola Dasylva, Director of Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan; Isaac O. Herbert, and Dr. Sola Olorunyomi.
