JAW WAR 2018: THE PREMIER FACULTY FINALLY BOWS OUT
…the semifinal topic not favourable, Chief Judge admits

The Premier Faculty has finally bowed out of the biggest public speaking event in the Sub-Saharan Africa as she was driven home by the Faculty of Education at the recently concluded semi-final round held on the 19th of October, 2018 at the renowned Veterinary Medicine auditorium, University of Ibadan.
Consequent upon this, the chief judge, Dr Demola Lewis who is also a lecturer in the Department of Linguistics admitted the one-sidedness of the debated topic, as it was not favourable to the Faculty of Arts. He further commended them for fighting hard as it was beyond people’s expectations that such topic could be debated to win such high point as 70.3 as against the Faculty of Education’s 71.6.
However, this does not mean that the Faculty of Education did not fight hard to make it to the finals and to meet Faculty of Law who, in their own, annihilated the Faculty of Technology to make it to the grand finale slated to hold on the 7th of November, 2018.
More so, the halls that blazed in the recently concluded round are The Great Lord Tedder Hall, who beat off Alexander Brown Hall to make it to the finals and also Sultan Bello Hall, who demolished Kenneth Mellanby Hall.
