UCJ UI KICKS OFF WITH BOOT CAMP TRAINING

The Union of Campus Journalists University of Ibadan has begun her boot camp training for her members, especially for the intending members to expose them more on the different aspects of journalism.

The boot camp, which commenced on the 27th of July 2019, had the presence of Dr. Charles Akinsete who lectured on the fundamentals of English usage and creative writing. The second day had Dr. Olayinka Egbokhare and Mayowa Tijani lecture on effective communication skills and Features writing respectively.

However, the training will continue on August 3rd and end on August 10 which will include trainings on data journalism, broadcast journalism, proofreading, editing and ethics of journalism.

The boot camp is the premiere edition and is expected to be an all encompassing intensive training.
