AFASIEC LIFTS BAN ON AFAS ELECTORAL ACTIVITIES
The Association of Faculty of Arts Students Independent Electoral Committee (AFASIEC) has lifted the ban on electoral activities in the faculty on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019.
The Electoral commission which was inaugurated by the Council of Presidents and Secretaries (CPS) on the 29th of November, 2019, saw Miss Olaniyi Oluwakemi Christiana from Religious studies department emerge as thechairperson of the electoral committee.
According to the released election calendar, sales and submission of forms starts on 3rd of December and ends on December 17th; screening on January 8th,2020; press night on the 13th of January 13th; manifesto night and election 15th and 16th January, 2020, respectively.
