ARTS DEFEATS EDUCATION TO QUALIFY FOR FINALS

The faculty of Arts defeats faculty of Education at the faculty level of Jaw war 2019 at the Social Sciences Large Lecture Theatre, University of Ibadan on the 29thof November, 2019.

Adetokun Samuel and Ogunsanya Goodness represented Arts. With the topic “Is democracy relevant for good governance in the 21st century?” Faculty of Arts supported the motion and edged on with 74.25 to Education’s loss with 64.9 making Arts qualify to the finals.

Other faculty that moved on to the finals was Faculty of Science winning with 68.58 to the loss of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who had 66.59. ObafemiAwolowo hall and Lord Tedder hall also moved to the final round for the hall category with Awo winning to Kuti hall with 72.42 and Tedder edging on with 71.84 to the loss of Independence hall.
