We have so far arrived in the march
From splintered corners in four horizons
Worn, and weary lies golden head,
In the long purple carpet that shines
On to the sun rising of coronation day.

With the mind to become we first moved
Now alight in hot pursuit of chill rest
To spice our days and nights of toil
Before the book that blinks at flighty heart
Yielding to the calling that binds us.

We travel as one with merry hearts
On the weightless wings of the humanities
Eyes set forward through looking inward
To the treasure of gifts abounding within
Yielding to the calling that binds us.

Each day we roll our history scrolls in part
Turning the gyres of nationhood in tune
We are one in all, all we are in one
In the zeitgeist of the arts,
Yielding to the calling that binds us.
