The Faculty Legislative council (FLC), who is  also saddled with judicial responsibility to look into the complaints, held an emergency sitting on Wednesday, 27th of January, 2019.

Mr. Damilare Thomas basis of complain was on the assertion that non-eligible voters had voted and there existed, a security breach in the whole electoral exercise.

While, Mr. Aderemi Moses’ letter on the other hand, raised allegations against the electoral committee, AFASEIC, and the President elect, Mr. Eniola Francis, who he claims had sent text messages to AFASITES on the election day which is against the constitution, to mention a few.

The complains of Mr. Aderemi Moses were looked into and all were proven inaccurate. A motion was moved rejecting the petition of Mr. Aderemi Moses in its entirety by Hon. Temitope Bankole and seconded by Hon. Femi Famuyiwa.

However, the petition of Mr. Damilare Thomas was not attended to and rejected on the ground that he did not officially write to the electoral committee, AFASEIC.
