The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan (UCJUI) has called for the submission of published works by female campus journalists for the J6 award. This was announced in a broadcast message that was circulated on Sunday, October 3, and signed by the president of UCJUI, Fasilat Rauf, and the PRO I of the union, Dada Ibukunoluwa.
The union called for submission from female journalists who have published works on an investigation, feature, and/or news stories. Participants stand the chance of winning the J6 Award, with the #30,000 cash prize.
Three of the participants’ published works are to be sent to the Union’s email, together with a scanned copy of their press ID card and a short bio. The Union advises that priorities will be given to non-news stories. The deadline for submission is scheduled for 13 October 2021.
