AFAS Press Conducts Interview to Recruit New Members

Following the suspension of the eight-month strike, the press organization of the Faculty of Arts conducted the second batch interview to recruit new members.

The organization had put out its recruitment form before the strike action, and the first interview was done on the 12th of March, 2022. However, with more students clamoring for the forms to be reopened, a new deadline was set for the 25th of March, 2022.

The second interview was held on Saturday, 5th of November 2022, held at Room 71. The press confirmed the recruitment of nine AFASites who passed the test with average scores ranging from 50.6% to 59%, barely scaling through the cut-off mark of 50%.

This puts the total number of recruits at fourteen. They will be on probation for three weeks before they become sworn members of the press.
