BREAKING: FLC suspends AFAS President

The Faculty Legislative Council has on Friday, 5 May 2023 suspended the President of Association of Faculty of Arts Students, Akinyoola Emmanuel.
The suspension of the President is based on his unsatisfactory address to the house.
The House made this decision to suspend the President indefinitely until he satisfactorily obliges to the ruling of the house.
The motion to suspend the President was moved by Honourable Idris from the Classics Constituency and was seconded by Honourable Joy, and was approved by the majority of the house.
This comes after the House rejected the President’s apology with a clause for his immediate removal if he is found guilty of any offence or misconduct.
