AFAS FLC Set to Hold Inaugural Legislative Workshop

The policy making organ of the Association of Faculty of Art Students, University of Ibadan, duly known as Faculty of Arts Legislative Council (AFAS-FLC), under the headship of Rt. Honorable Luqman Olalekan Alagunfon, is set to hold an inaugural legislative training for her members.
The virtual training, which will commence on Monday, 28th of August 2023 by 10am has been scheduled to end ultimately on Tuesday, 29th August, 2023.
The workshop which is designed to further equip students legislators in the new Assembly with further knowledge about the concepts of policy making and legislative research is themed “Legislative Research and Analysis: The Key to Policy Development and Evaluation”.
Expected guests at the training are Former Speaker, AFAS-FLC, Rt Honorable Olumide Osinuga, designated to speak on the topic ‘Legislative Process and Procedures’; as well as the former Speaker, Kuti Hall of Residence, Rt. Honorable Umar Adeyemi who will be addressing the topic ‘Legislative Ethics and Accountability.’
