From Gospel Groove to the Vanishing Act?

Olabisi Esther’s name, after she won a 300 million worth of prizes at the Gospel Grove Talent Quest, has been echoed and applauded with admiration by more than a few AFASites. Particularly the fresh AFASites who are enthusiastic about meeting a “celeb”, but the question remains, “Where is Olabisi Esther?”

It seems Olabisi has vanished, leaving both friends and professors perplexed and intrigued by the mysteriousness of her whereabouts. Maybe she’s somewhere, but we don’t know where. Maybe she speaks with some people, but nobody knows who. As such, students have been led to make a few speculations as to where she is or what she could be doing.
Some have jokingly surmised that she has left us in UI and has transferred to the University of Hiding or the University of Japa. Another theory circulating among those in the know is that Olabisi has begun to pursue her second passion for crocheting, hoping to make it as big as her music career. I mean, she is popular now, right? Strategy!!!

Another theory proposes that Olabisi may be pursuing her musical aspirations more ardently. Of course, with the new record deals she will be signed on, where’s the time for school and Theatre? With the financial cushion provided by her competition win, she could very well be pouring her heart and soul into a music career. If that’s true, she might be the next big sensation to grace the gospel music charts.

To add to these, it is also possible that the transition from University life to newfound stardom can be pretty overwhelming. Could this sudden surge in popularity have something to do with her mysterious disappearance? It’s not unusual for individuals to grapple with the challenges of fame, especially when it arrives as swiftly as it did for Olabisi. Perhaps she needs some time away to adjust to her newfound status. Small thing now, and AFASites will say it’s pride.

Amidst all these unanswered questions, one thing rings clear, Olabisi’s journey is far from over. So it’s another possibility that she is in her own sanctuary, offering heartfelt thanks to God, who she says guided her to victory at the Gospel Grove Talent Quest 2023. After winning, she said she was honored by His love. Perhaps she’s returning the honor to Him.

Alternatively, she may be plotting a comeback that will leave us all with “ahhs” in our mouths. To draw the curtain on the Olabisi saga, it is believed that whatever the source or the reason for her silence is, the truth will likely be far more intriguing.
