Faculty of Arts, BMS, Dentistry, Social Sciences, Sciences, Law, Tech and Agriculture Qualifiy for Jaw War Quarter Finals

The Faculty of Arts and seven other faculties have qualified for the quarter finals of Jaw War 2024 after they defeated their opponents in the first round of the faculty category.
The Faculty category of the competition held on February 2, 2024, at the New Faculty Lecture Theatre (NFLT) of the Faculty of Technology, featuring 16 faculties, including Arts, Technology, Science, Tech, RNR, Law, Public Health, Dentistry, Clinical Sciences, among others.
The Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine debated on the topic, ‘Agriculture: The Solution to Nigeria’s Wealth Creation’. The Faculty of Arts had 75.25% while the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine had 69.22%. The faculties of Basic Medical Sciences, Public Health, Social Sciences, Science, Law, Technology and Agriculture also defeated their opponents and qualified for the quarter final round. The quarter final round is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at NFLT.
Ogunsesan Nafisat, the Student Union Vice President and the first speaker for the Faculty of Law emerged as the best speaker of the round.
