AFAS FLC Approves AFASIEC Budget Ahead of Upcoming Election

The Association of Faculty of Arts Students’ legislative council (AFAS FLC) has approved 81,570 naira for the upcoming elections in the Faculty of Arts during an emergency sitting held on Friday 29th, 2024 at the New Faculty Building, Room NCF UG 02b, Faculty of Arts.

The budget, presented by the Chairperson of the Association of Faculty of Arts Independent Electoral Committee (AFASIEC),  Oluwayori Ayokunnumi, contained the expenses on printing of the election materials,  refreshments, logistics, and miscellaneous.

Moving the motion for the approval of the budget and seconded by Hon. Azeezat, Hon. Janet from English constituency added the clause that “All items should be submitted to the investigative committee, all memorandum of understanding should be submitted to the audit and finance committee, and also the report of the election should be submitted to the investigative committee a week after the election.”
