The executive council of the Association of Faculty of Arts Students has provided a lasting solution to the issue AFASites are facing when using the toilet facilities at the New Faculty building.

In a release signed by the AFAS President,  Adeniyi Olamilekan, and announced by the PRO, Oladosu Daniel, it was noted that students can now access the toilet facilities without being compelled to fetch water.

This development was followed by the cleaning and reparation of the water tank by the executive members and other students who had volunteered to join them in the quest.

“NOTICE TO ALL AFASITES

Dear Distinguished AFASites,

We are pleased to inform you that the executives have addressed the issue of students being compelled to fetch water before accessing the toilet facilities at the New Faculty building.

Upon investigation, we met with the SUB Dean General, who explained that the storage tank at the new building required repairs and cleaning before water could be pumped in consistently.

To alleviate the stress on our students, the executives and volunteer students took it upon themselves to carry out the necessary work on Saturday, 17th August 2024.

We are delighted to announce that the issue has been resolved, and you can now access the toilet facilities by using the taps provided.

We are committed to serving you better and appreciate your patience and understanding.”
