The Association of Faculty of Arts Students(AFAS) executives have directed the removal of all posters, flyers and stickers in the faculty within 24 hours.

This was contained in a statement released by the executives on Thursday. The statement, “NOTICE AGAINST WALL DEFACEMENT WITH POSTERS” was a call against culpable individuals to remove their flyers, posters, stickers on the faculty walls and all surfaces.

Attention has been drawn to several flyers, posters, and stickers with different names, being fixed on walls, floors, and corridors within and around the faculty premises. This has grossly contributed to the defacement of the environment hereby compromising the effort of the faculty management in ensuring cleanliness and order. In addition to that, they tend to promote waste, vandalism, and poor dissemination of information.” The statement reads.

“You are hereby required to remove all posters, flyers, stickers, etc., bearing your name, image, or tagline from the walls, floors, and all surfaces within Faculty of Arts forthwith, and not later than 24 hours from the date hereof.” The statement continues.

The statement was signed by all AFAS executives and announced by the public relations officer, Oladosu Daniel.
