UI’SRC Convenes First Emergency Meeting to Discuss Basic Dues Increment

The University of Ibadan Students’ Representative Council (UI’SRC),12th Assembly, has scheduled its first emergency meeting to deliberate on a proposed increment in the basic dues.

According to an official notification released by the Council, the emergency session is set to hold on Saturday, 5 April, 2025, at 4:00 pm via Google Meet.

The major agenda of the meeting is a review of the proposed basic dues increment. At the meeting, members are expected to assess the justification and implications of the proposed basic due increment and reach a consensus on the subject of discussion.

The notification, signed by Rt. Hon. Shoge Quadri Olaoluwa, Speaker of the Council, and Hon. Adedeji Praise, Clerk of the Council, was copied to the Council of Faculty Presidents and the Council of Hall Chairpersons, who had earlier requested that the basic due be increased to ₦5,000.
