AFAS Sets to Hold Freshers’ Welcome Week
The Executive Council of the Association of Faculty of Arts Students (AFAS), University of Ibadan, has announced that AFAS Freshers’ Welcome Week 2025 will take place from 14th to 16th May, 2025.
The Week themed “ARTIUM: Beyond Arts” is aimed at welcoming new students to the faculty, equipping them with the academic and social tools needed to navigating university life effectively, and providing them with the opportunity to showcase their skills and potential.
The week kicks off on 14th May, 2025 with Games/Sports Day and Gyration (Remontada). On 15th May, 2025, the association will hold its Freshers’ Orientation Programme (Equilibrium). Artium Variety Night and Mr. & Miss AFAS Fresher Pageantry will hold on 16th May, 2025.
