PROFESSOR, TEAM DEVELOP ULTRASONIC DEVICE

An ultrasonic device capable of killing mosquitoes has been developed by Professor George Olusegun and some team members.
This was made known at the 436th inaugural lecture of the University of Ibadan, which held recently at Trenchard hall in the lecture titled; Bugs and Humans at War: Third Eye to the Rescue, focuses on waging war against mosquitoes.
The device, according to Prof. Olusegun has been developed in the quest for providing lasting solutions to the problem of the malaria parasite’s resistance to drugs.
