EXECUTIVE COUNCIL AND FLC OFFICIALY BEGIN TENURE

The Association of Faculty of Arts Students’ Executive and Faculty Legislative Council on Monday, the 15th of February took the Oath of Office, which marks the official commencement of duty of both arms. The Swearing in ceremony, which took place at the faculty, had in attendance the Dean of the faculty—Professor Afis Oladosu, the sub-dean— Dr O.P. Oke, the faculty staff adviser— Dr Adams Akeula.

While addressing both arms, the Dean advised them to be good representatives. The Sub dean then warned them to avoid a repeat of the brouhaha that happened between the FLC and the executive in the previous administration. He also advised them to work as a team to prevent partial functionality.

In a report released by the Executive, the Executive promised ‘a toll-free students’ governance by our constitutional duties and a synergized successful administration’.
