SIGMA holds interview; admits ten AFASITES

Sigma Club, the oldest and longest known surviving students’ organization in Sub-Saharan Africa held her annual admission interview for prospective members on Saturday, 2 April, 2022 at the Department of Crop Protection and Environmental Biology Seminar Room, University of Ibadan.


The interview session was graced by Loyal Sigmites, Old Chief and Old Sigmites and they partook in examining the applicants seeking to earn esteemed membership of the club.


Announcing the results of the interview in the early hours of Monday, ten AFASITES were shortlisted of the fifty-four (54) admitted overall out of the 200 applicants.


Reacting after the release, the club’s Publicity Committee Chairman, Loyalist Alawiye Israel Toluwanimi, noted that they “received a great pool of applications this year and ensured that only those who fit the archetype the club needs were picked.”
