Impeachment unjust and unfair, I will appeal impeachment – Prime reacts

Reacting to the news of his impeachment on the afternoon hours of Saturday, 24th of March, 2023, the impeached Director of Sports of AFAS has claimed that his impeachment was unjust and unfair.
In an exclusive interview with AFAS Press correspondent, Alawiye Israel, a.k.a. Prime defended his actions during his tenure and stated that the allegations against him were not fair.
The impeached Director of Sports also pointed out that he had contributed significantly to the association during the freshers’ welcome including donating his personal items such as a generator, play station, and fan without collecting any money from the association. He said ” I gave my all to AFAS during freshers’ welcome. I brought my generator, fan and play station without collecting 1naira from AFAS”.
He further stated that the accusations of negligence of duties and unaccountability were made during his suspension and when he was not in office. He said “All these happened during my suspension… when I wasn’t in office”.
When asked if he would be appealing the impeachment should he find a way, he responded that an appeal will be made during the congress. He said “Of course, it would be done during congress”.
