JAW WAR 23: Arts emerges victorious, proceeds to the Semi finals, to face Faculty of Technology

Faculty of Arts has again emerged victorious in the ongoing Jaw War inter-faculty quarter finals round that was held on Wednesday 19th of April,2023 at NFLT. Arts supported the topic “Should healthcare be considered a right in the 21st century”?
The quarter finals round featured 8 faculties seeking to scale through to the Semi finals. Faculty of Agriculture tackled Technology; Clinical Sciences faced Arts; Environmental Design fought head on head with Economics and Renewable Natural Resources opposed Law.
Representing the faculty of Arts were Olayide Bolaji, a student of English department and Okusanya Goodness, a 400level student of the CLA department.
In the announced results Arts garnered 84.1% points defeating her opponent with 75.9% points. Arts will now face the faculty of Technology to book a place in the final at ICC
Olayide Bolaji emerged as the best speaker for the Inter-faculty quarter finals round.
The results of the debate are as follows;
AGRIC – 77.5%
TECH – 81.3%
CLINICAL SCIENCES – 75.9%
ARTS – 84.1%
ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN – 65.5%
ECONOMICS – 71%
RNR – 75.75%
LAW – 81.8%
