AFAS PRESS Swears In New Editorial Board Members

At the handover ceremony that was held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Room 36, Faculty of Arts, Association of Faculty of Arts Students (AFAS) Press inaugurated the new editorial board that will steer its affairs in the next academic session.
The inauguration took place after the dissolution of the previous editorial board office by the Staff Adviser, Dr. Lanre Okuseinde, which subsequently led to the new editorial board taking their oaths of office.

The new editorial board is now headed by Foyin Ejilola, the immediate past Features Editor of AFAS Press who is a 300 level student of the English department, while Tijani Abdulkabir, the immediate past News Editor, is now the Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

Other members of the Editorial board are; Praise Olorunfemi, Managing Editor; Igwe Precious, General Editor; Elabor Awelu, Health Editor; Olanshile Ogunrinu, Politics Editor; Giwa Veronica, Sports Editor; Eniola Awolesi, Entertainment and Lifestyle Editor, while Opemipo Olukoga and Lawal Taiwo Moruf are the Features and News Editors respectively.

In her speech, the new Editor-in-Chief, Foyin Ejilola, expressed her excitement on assumption of the post, and stressed her readiness to work with every member of the editorial board to sustain the standard and quality delivery peculiar to Afas Press.

Certificates of excellence were also presented to other AFAS PRESS members for their outstanding contributions and dedication.
