GoLearn Organises Ibadan Finance Conference

The Financial literacy platform, GoLearn, organised a financial conference, Ibadan Finance Conference, at the International Conference Center (ICC), University of Ibadan on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

The event themed ‘Money Skills’ was targeted towards equipping youth with financial skills for financial freedom.

One of the panelists, a financial expert, Odunlami Samuel emphasised on finding the right niche to build which he termed the “20 idea method” which basically entails carefully assessing many ideas before finally working on the one with the highest potential. He also noted that life is not rocket science.

“Anything you want you have to work for it”, he said.

Present was the immediate past Commissioner of Youth and Sports in Oyo state, Dr. Seun Fakorede, who gave insightful views on the topic ‘People and Relationships’. He spoke about harnessing the power of relationships to create and sustain wealth.

“There is a level of currency called relationship. Take your time to build it”, he stated.

Speaking on the effective strategy that can be used in navigating the economic crisis in Nigeria, Solution Emmanuel, stressed the need to have a positive mindset and always overlook challenges to prevent distractions.

Also present at the event were representatives from Exness, GCS FIBERS and Ashtoken.
