UI SU Reiterates its Position on the Payment of Laboratory/Studio Levies in Certain Faculties

The University of Ibadan Student Union has reiterated its stand on the Laboratory/Studio Levy introduced by some faculties in the university. This was made known in an official broadcast that was released by the Union on Monday, October 9, 2023.

The address to the student populace regarding the introduction of the new fees by some faculties and other pressing issues came after several deliberations at Student Representative Council’s (SRC) sitting on Saturday, October 7.

“Earlier, the union had made a release on the 13th of September, calling for students to exercise caution with the payment of studio/laboratory levies. Please note that our position on these fees has not changed”, the release read in part.
