“The Union Has Been Running on Outsourced Funds”— Host, UI SU President

The president of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union, Samuel Samson Tobiloba (Host), has disclosed that the union has been running its affairs on outsourced funds. He made the revelation during a press conference organised by the Union which was held at the SRC Chamber on Sunday, January 14, 2023.

He explained that the Union had not received its dues from the school account, hence all the current administration’s projects have been sponsored through outsourced funds.

While delivering his opening speech, the president stated that the Union had disbursed a bursary of One million six hundred thousand naira (N1.6m) to indigent students with current plans to do more. He added that other achievements of the administration include the successful organisation of entrepreneurship training for students.
