AFAS Begins Skill Acquisition Bootcamp

The Association of Faculty of Arts Students Executive Council, Team New Era under the leadership of Adeniyi Olalekan (Mojuba), began a three-Saturday Skill Acquisition Bootcamp in collaboration with the AFAS Helpdesk Committee on Saturday 20th July, 2024.
The skill acquisition boot camp according to the description of the Bootcamp Whatsapp Group was “designed to provide students with practical skills and hands-on experience in various fields, helping them enhance their knowledge and improve their employability.”
The boot camp had Photography, Graphics Design, Video Content Creation, Resume and CV Writing, and Content writing sessions. The first training session began 2pm on Saturday 20th July, 2024 except for the Photography Class which began at 11am.
The association’s president, Mojuba, asserted in a message sent to the Whatsapp group that “Only students that attend the three classes for the three Saturdays will get the certificate”.
