Adedimeji Lateef also known as crying machine for the kind of roles he performs was born on February 1986 in Lagos State. He is a native of Abeokuta Ogun State who graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University, where he bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication. He started his acting career in 2007, starring in several Nigerian films over the years alongside major names in the movie industry. In 2015, he was nominated for City People Entertainment Award for the 2015 Most Promising Actor of the year. He won the Odua Movie Awards for Best Actor Award in 2014 and 2015 respectively. In 2016, he won the 2016 Best of Nollywood Awards for Best Actor in a Lead Role (Yoruba) and also The Heritage Award in Atlanta for Best Actor Award for his role in Kudi Klepto. He is confused to be related to the popular Nollywood star, Odunlade Adekola which he disclaimed.
Rumors suggests that he is engaged to an actress who recently reached the limelight known as Adebimpe Oyebade based on some pictures which looks like pre-wedding photoshoot. The claims were dismissed when she was asked in a recent interview by Gtv ng if she is romantically linked to Adedimeji lateef which she responded that: “The relationship I enjoy with him is professional. Though, hes a very good friend and also my senior in the industry. He is doing great for himself”. As seen, it seems the popular actor is still in the market or maybe he has not made his real relationship public.
