Faculty of Education Students Emerge Mr and Miss UI
Two students of the faculty of Education have emerged Mr and Miss UI respectively. Anthony Emenike, a 200-level student at the Department of Library and Archival Studies and Oshinyemi Promise, a 200-level student at the Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education have emerged as the new owners of the titles. The two students got their new titles after beating nine other contestants each at the Royal Phoenix, held at the New Faculty Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Science, on Saturday, 25 September, 2021.
The Royal Beauty Phoneix, organized by the Students’ Union in conjunction with Elegant Global Concepts was part of events that were outlined for the UI SU Week. The event also saw the Students’ Union present awards to our students in various fields.
The SU week had begun with interfaculty games, and also featured a three-day trade fair. The week closed with the Commissioning of the SU viewing centre.
