Arts L ‘n D Shines at Tech Bilateral

The Faculty of Arts Literary & Debating Society defeated faculty of technology to emerge as one of the winners of the technology inter-faculty bilateral public speaking competition organized by the Faculty of Technology debating society.

This event which was held at the technology lecture theatre (TLT) saw the team from Arts L&D debated against the team from technology L&D on the topic: Should essential service workers be banned from striking.

The Arts L&D was represented by Morakinyo Temidayo Phillip & Olayiwola Rahimat Adeola. They emerged victorious after securing a total score of 59% defeating their opponents who secured 56% in total.

Another team from the technology L&D defeated representatives from the faculty of education in another round of debate with 0.1% score difference.
