My suspension was the President’s personal decision – AFAS AGS

Following news of the suspension of Adeniyi Mojuba, the AGS has decried his suspension by the Executive Council as constitutionally wrong and the allegations levied against him completely false.
He also stated that the suspension was the President’s personal decision in his statement to AFAS Press.
“ The suspension is not constitutionally right nor is it true. I am pleased to tell you it was the President’s personal decision and it’s an abuse of power. To add to this, totally undemocratic. I have not been found guilty of any misconduct till this very hour and what I can call his action is total blackmail and defamation of character”, he said.
“No key was duplicated by me. I share the key with my General Secretary until he gave me one which all the executives are aware I own a key to the office as the AGS. These were completely false allegations and the President just succeeded in feeding the press men the wrong news.” He added.
