AFAS FLC Reinstates Faculty President

The president of the Faculty of Arts, Akinyoola Emmanuel (AKOEM), has been reinstated by the Faculty Legislative Council (FLC) in a semi-plenary and auditing session held by the House in conjunction with the Audit and Finance Committee on July 12, 2023.


In the public statement affirming his reinstatement, which was date July 13, 2023, and signed by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Olasoji Akindejoye, and the Announcer, Hon. Janet Meziem, it was stated that Akinyoola has been pardoned following his fulfilment of the obligations requested of him by the house.


“The president of the association, who had earlier been placed on suspension by the House, was pardoned and reinstated by the House, having finally satisfied the obligations spelt out to him by the House.” the statement read.
