‘The clauses of the disciplinary measures still stand but its execution is being put on hold”- FLC Speaker

The Speaker of  the faculty of Arts’ legislative council, Rt Hon Olajide Miqdad, has postponed the effectiveness of the disciplinary measures melted on AFAS President, Adeniyi Olamilekan.

He made the statement after the house resumed from a 15 minutes recess, where he apologised to the honourable members for delaying the decision after the motion for the disciplinary measures have been raised and voted on the floor of the house.

He said “In as much as Mr President have been indicted for breaching the constitution and disregarding the FLC, I would like to apologize to the house that the decision of the disciplinary measures be put on hold till Monday and wait for further directives which will be sent to the FLC WhatsApp group – the second place for plenary session. “

He stated that although the clauses of the disciplinary measures still stand but the execution is being put on hold.
