FLC to Mitigate AFAS Package Distribution Inadequacies

The Faculty Legislative Council has decided to mitigate the concurring adequacies with the distribution of the package for the session by the association Executive Council in her last plenary session held on Friday 10th, January, 2025.

The issue of the inadequacies was raised by Hon. Yeboah Daniel, asserting that at the Stakeholders meeting, AFASites raised that those that pay due early in the session get deprived of their packages, hence, he suggested on the floor of the house that an official release be made to the executive council that the first batch of distribution should be for those that paid their dues early in the session.

The Speaker of the council, Rt. Hon. Miqdad Olajide added that after the Investigative and Probe Panel had confirmed the figure of the produced package, members of the association that made payment in the first semester and before the day the budget for the production of AFAS packages was presented by the executive council and approved by the FLC in the second semester will be viable to receive their packages from the current produced batch.

The Speaker added that those who recently paid will be attended to later.
