AFAS Press Immediate Past Editor-in-Chief Takes Office as UCJUI President

Olanshile Ogunrinu, the immediate past editor-in-chief of AFAS Press, has taken office as the president of the Union of Campus Journalists (UCJ), University of Ibadan.

Olanshile was inaugurated as the president of the union during the handover and award ceremony held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at the Sultan Bello Hall Dome, University of Ibadan.

The ceremony marked the transition from the 36th administration to the 37th administration and included the presentation of awards to outstanding campus journalists and local press organisations, among other activities.

The 37th administration, headed by Olanshile, also includes Ogunleye Moboluwarin as Vice-President (Administration); Ayeye Toluwalope as Vice-President (Editorial); Faith Adediran as General Secretary; Ojo Victoria as Assistant General Secretary; Ayandare Ibrahim as PRO I; Siyanbola Victor as PRO II; and Shodipe Blessing as Financial Secretary.
